Amy Hunter has been with the K9 Tailshakers team since 2021 working in the Boarding and the Enrichment Departments. Amy has recently taken on the role of Kennel Co Lead with Jason, and we are all excited to have Amy working with Jason to help ensure that all our guests have an PAWsome experience.  

 

In addition to being Pet Tech First Aid and Rescue Breathing certified, Amy is working on becoming a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider. This is one of the many future certifications that Amy will be earning.  

 

Amy has had a love of dogs ever since she was a young girl. While spending the night at her grandmother’s home, their Irish Setter Olly would snuggle up to Amy while she was in her sleeping bag ensuring she had a peaceful slumber.  

 

Amy’s Golden Retriever, Buzz, picked her as his person when he proceeded to snuggle up to her and proudly fell asleep on her feet. Amy stays fit by taking long walks throughout her neighborhood and enjoys meeting all her doggie neighbors.  

 

Amy is proud to be part of the amazing team at K9Tailshakers that provides a wonderful experience for dogs and their owners. 

Amy lives in Lockport and her favorite fictional dog is Snoopy.
