Jessica Kirkwood has been with K9 Tailshakers, Inc since 2021.  During that time, she has trained in all departments and has continued to work in various departments when help is needed. 

 

Jessica is the main Provider in our Alumni Program in our Training Department.  She works on teaching Alumni guests tricks, keeps them current on their obedience skill sets and advances those that are ready for it. 

 

Jessica takes great pride in making sure that all Alumni guests are not only well-behaved members of society, but are loved, having fun, and well cared for while here at K9 Tailshakers, Inc. 

 

She is currently working on completing her Certified Trick Instructor Training and has completed Pat Miller Cognitive Skills Program, Michael Ellis Training Seminar, certified Pet Tech CPR/1st Aid Course and many additional courses with IACP, IBPSA, Dog Gurus and internal training. 

 

Her life revolves around her family, dogs and creating art when she is not working with dogs either here at K9 Tailshakers or in her home with her 2 family dogs: Gator and Caiman.  Her art is expressed in several different mediums, from abstracts to landscapes, pop art to professionally creating portraits of dogs for some of the lucky clients here at K9 Tailshakers, Inc.

 

Jessica is continuing to expand her knowledge and education as she grows with us here at K9 Tailshakers, Inc.

 

We are lucky to have such a dedicated employee and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Jessica.
