Beginner Classes
Prerequisite: Must complete the FREE Intro to Training Collar Class.
This level is the designated starting level for all dogs over 18 weeks of age, who have completed their vaccination schedule. Modules cover basic commands on-leash, that all dogs should know, as well as addressing some common house & manner issues.

Intro to training collar
Intro To Training Collar
Prerequisite: This class is required before starting any of the below Level 2 Beginner Classes
Supplies: 6 ft Leather/Nylon Leash, Prong Collar, Backup, Treats.
In this module we will go over everything that you need to know about the Training Collar. We will debunk the myths of a correction collar and talk about how this collar is safer than an actual flat collar. We will then educate you on the proper use, how to fit the collar, benefits and safety of the collar. You will understand how to use the collar as a means of communication and how to properly acclimate your dog to the collar. Dogs DO NOT ATTEND week one with you.
Many people use the collar wrong and even have it sized incorrectly. It is meant to be a communication tool between you and your dog and if you do not teach your dog the proper language of the collar, how effective is your communication?
This is a FREE 2 week Class that is open to EVERYONE. No commitment required. This class is required for anyone signing up for Modular Class Levels 2-4

Prerequisite: Intro to Training Collar
Supplies: 6 ft Leather/Nylon Leash, Prong Collar, Backup, Treats
This is the beginning stages of learning how to properly hold your leash, where your dog should be in the heel position and how & when to apply corrections for the heel position. We will also teach you how to walk your dog with a loose leash.

Prerequisite: Intro to Training Collar
Supplies: 6 ft Leather/Nylon Leash, Prong Collar, Backup, Treats
In this module, clients will learn to teach their dog the “Place” command, as well as how to address several undesirable household behaviors in the moment. We will cover counter surfing, jumping, barking, strangers entering the house, clients leaving the house, etc. Each week will be dedicated 30 minutes to place, and 30 minutes to the household manners.

Prerequisite: Intro to Training Collar
Supplies: 6 ft Leather/Nylon Leash, Prong Collar, Backup, Treats
In this module, clients will learn to teach their dog basic obedience commands on-leash. Commands covered are Heel, Flip-Heel (intro to position), Sit, Down, Stay, Wait (thresholds). Once the commands are understood, corrections will be introduced. Distractions will increase as the class progresses.

Supplies: 6 ft Leather/Nylon Leash, Prong Collar, Backup, Treats
Clients will be taught how to teach a basic level recall command. We will begin with some exercises to teach dogs the concept of “come” as well as what the expectations of the command are. THIS CLASS WILL NOT PRODUCE A “FINISHED,” RECALL COMMAND, it introduces what the command means to your dog. Completing the full recall module series will give you the tools to fully finish the recall command.
